Readability, rigor, clarity.
# Goal
The sentence must guide the reader step by step, never forcing them to pause and re-read.
# Rule
Encode logical relations (Causal links, contrasts, concessions, and parallel structures) in syntax, not inference.
Place old information before new information.
Use nominalization to summarize old information, not to bury new actions.
Control sentence length rhythm to aid parsing. Long sentences should be architectural, short ones impactful.
Split long sentences boldly when a single sentence carries too many distinct ideas.
