# Outer Barcelona Neighborhoods

## 1. Sants

**Best for**: Budget-conscious professionals, AVE travelers, those wanting transit hub

**Character**: Working-class neighborhood centered around Sants train station (AVE, Rodalies, Metro). Authentic local feel, improving. Good value for central access.

**Pros**: Excellent transit (Sants station), affordable, local feel, park (Parc de l'Espanya Industrial)
**Cons**: Not trendy, limited nightlife, can feel industrial in parts

**Character**: Traditional working-class neighborhood north of center. Strong local identity. Improving with new developments. Still affordable.
